Certificate
Candidates fulfilling all requirements will be awarded an IECEx CoPC valid for five years.
Certificates can be viewed online at www.iecex.com
and in the IECEx smart-phone app.
STAGE 5
Recertification
STAGE 1 - APPLICATION
Please prepare the following documentation for your application:

Application form, see OD 502 section 3

A Passport size portrait photograph (.jpg format and less than 150 x 180 pixels), see OD 502 3.3.5

A CV

Evidence of education, training and work experience (pdf format or similar), see OD 502 2.4 -2.5

STAGE 2 - REVIEW
See IECEx OD 504 for the detail prerequisites for each unit.
Ex 000: No requirement
Ex 001: No requirement
Ex 002: Require a degree, diploma or equivalent in a technical subject
Ex 003 & 006: Require a college, vocational degree etc. of technical education | minimum 3 years experience in industrial electrical installation practice | Ex 001
Ex 004, 007 & 008: Require a college degree etc. of technical education | minimum 3 years experience in industrial installation practice | Ex 001
Ex 009: Require a college degree etc. of technical education | minimum 3 years experience in electrical installation design | Ex 001
If the review is successful, your status will change to "candidate" and you can sign up for assessments.
STAGE 3 - ASSESSMENT
For unit Ex 000 and Ex 001 it will be a theory exam only. All other units will include both theory exams and practical assessments.
Assessment can be conducted at our assessment center in Vung Tau or the theory tests of all units can be conducted remotely.
You are advised to study the relevant parts of IECEx OD 503 and 504 for further information about the assessments.
If your assessment is successful, and all fees are paid, your status will be changed to "certified person".
STAGE 4 - CERTIFICATE

STAGE 5 - RECERTIFICATION
You will need to apply for renewal of your certificate. Depending on if there have been changes to the relevant IEC 60079-standards, and depending on your work history during the past years, the Certification Body will decide if you will be offered a partial or full reassessment.
